SCTE Rocky Mountain Chapter is located in the heart of “Denver Cable.” Denver is the pioneering home to 17+ cable headquarters, back in the day, pre-consolidation.

We serve members from northern New Mexico to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and into Wyoming. Because of this, we are an especially beautiful chapter to visit and join!

We take great pride in serving telecommunication professionals in the Rocky Mountain region. Our programs range from regular chapter meetings to webinars, training seminars, and vendor events. Our annual Engineering Symposium and Golf in the summer is not to be missed. All of these opportunities provide ample networking opportunities within a technologically vibrant community.

Our members represent many layers of the cable industry. From CableLabs, to The Cable Center, and the two largest MSOs, Comcast and Charter, we have a very diverse membership! Comcast and Charter both have multiple layers of their operations in Colorado, ranging from: HQ offices, National Video Distribution, software development, engineering,  field operations, and support centers.

SCTE Rocky Mountain Chapter is the largest Chapter in the world! We are 1,000+ members strong serving three states!

Did you know that the Cable-Tec Games, originally called Cable Games, were first held in 1989 by the SCTE Rocky Mountain Chapter?  The Cable-Tec Games competitions have been held annually and have been a part of SCTE's Cable-Tec Expo® since 1991.
