Nick Segura

Nick Segura has been with Charter Communications for 15 years and serves as Director of Technical Operations. Nick is a technical professional who is trusted and respected by the field. He is often consulted by his peers in other companies and is a regular contributor to CableLabs and other professional organizations. He focuses on the betterment of Field Engineering Operations by maintaining company Standards and Specifications and sharing process, procedures and best practices with system leaders and techs alike for achieving alignment with company goals and to convey perspective and benefits to the task at hand. Nick also enjoys sharing the purpose and origin of Technical standards and understanding how to achieve them.

Nick began his telecommunication career in Arizona and moved to Denver in 1999 to deploy DOCSIS with High Speed Access Corporation before moving to Cable Television Laboratories and finally Charter. Nick has been active within the SCTE for 25 years and served on local and National Boards. He also participates in several Engineering Standards and Professional Development committees and remains an active SCTE Proctor.
