Kevin Kwasny

Kevin Kwasny has been part of the cable industry and SCTE member for 15+ years and involved with the Rocky Mountain Chapter for 4+ years. Kevin began his cable career deploying pre-DOCSIS CMTS and modems for Shaw Cable in the frosty lands of Canada. Kevin found his true passion when he moved to Outside Plant and became a contributing member to the SCTE and Cablelabs standards committees such as DAA, DOCSIS 4.0 and Coherent optics. He eventually found his way to Denver to work with the Charter OSP team and joined the RMC. Here, Kevin became the chair of the SCTE Generic Access Platform (GAP) standards project and led the program to a published standard!

Kevin is an involved member of the RMC and a contributor on various SCTE standards committees. His favorite aspects of the chapter are learning, mentoring and networking with the wonderful members, often over a tasty beverage! He is looking to contribute more to the RMC and continue the success of the SCTE’s best chapter!
